In the past, only large enterprises needed to worry about security. Today, every startup holds significant customer data, and cybersecurity has become the top concern of 75% of all CEOs.

This means all developers need to ensure their platforms are secure, but the market is riddled with overcomplicated, expensive tools that aren’t fit for purpose. We are a no-BS, open-source, intuitive security platform that developers actually like to use.

We’re looking for a hands-on Sales Development Representative (SDR) that will be the first touchpoint for our prospects and the driver behind our sales pipeline. This role will focus primarily on outbound prospecting, with minimal involvement in inbound activities.


Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts and identify key prospects.

  • Outbound prospecting: cold calls, personalized emails, and social selling.

  • Qualify leads and book meetings.

  • Conduct event-based outreach using attendee lists.

  • Attend and represent Aikido at events.

  • Use sales tools like Sales Navigator, Clay, HeyReach, HubSpot, and Smartleads.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or SDR roles.

  • Track record of outbound prospecting.

  • English required; extra languages a plus.

  • Tech-savvy and tool-friendly.

  • Self-starter with a “get stuff done” attitude.
