Now we're planting our flag in APAC, and we're looking for our first dedicated marketing hire in the region. You'll be a generalist: part field marketer, part demand gen, part brand ambassador, working hand-in-hand with our commercial team in APAC. The job is to get Aikido known and trusted by developers and security teams across the region, and turn that awareness into pipeline. There's no playbook yet. You'll write it.
Responsibilities
Own and execute Aikido's field marketing strategy across the APAC region
Plan and run high-impact events that generate qualified pipeline and brand awareness
Coordinate event logistics, speakers, content, and sales follow-up from start to finish
Work closely with the commercial team to deliver regional campaigns that drive growth
Localize global campaigns, messaging, and content for diverse APAC markets
Build strong relationships with developer communities, partners, and security ecosystems
Represent Aikido at key industry events while bringing market insights back to the team
Job requirements
5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with meaningful time spent in field marketing, demand gen, or regional marketing roles
Based in Singapore (or willing to relocate)
Experience in developer tools, cybersecurity, or SaaS. You understand how developers and security teams think
Proven track record of running events and programs that generate real pipeline
Comfortable being a generalist: you can run an event on Monday, write localized ad copy on Tuesday, and brief a partner on Wednesday
Fluent in English; additional Asian language(s) a strong plus
You're a self-starter who doesn't wait for a complete brief before taking action
Bonus points for:
Existing network in the APAC developer or security community
Experience being the first regional marketing hire somewhere
Familiarity with AppSec, DevSecOps, or compliance
Japanese, Mandarin, Korean or Hindi language skills
