We are looking for a Legal Counsel (Commercial, Data & Compliance) to team up with our General Counsel and keep Aikido’s legal engine running. We’re talking about contracts, IP, data, compliance, and the occasional M&A. This is a hands-on role for someone sharp, curious, and eager to dive into the fast lane of a growing SaaS scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and close commercial contracts (customers & suppliers), mostly in the US, UK & Australia

• Data protection (GDPR) and compliance, including the upcoming AI Act

• Contract management & pragmatic legal advice to sales, product, and management teams

• Support in IP matters (licensing, trademarks, open source) and M&A transactional work

• Support in HR-related matters and corporate housekeeping

• Explore and implement legal tech & AI tools to help us move fast

• Master of Laws and 3–6 years' experience in tech or a law firm (commercial/IT law)

• Strong knowledge of contract law & GDPR

• Experience negotiating with international counterparties

• Fluent in Dutch & English. French or Spanish is a plus, but not required

• Bonus points if you’ve worked on IP, M&A, or hold an LL.M. in the US or another international specialization
