Graphic Designer

  • Ghent (Belgium)

Job description

🌍 We’re taking on the crusty global cyber market, the "no-BS" security platform for devs.

In the past, only large enterprises needed to worry about security. Today, cybersecurity has become the top concern of 75% of all CEOs, from startups to enterprises.
This means more work for developers, who need to become security experts and ensure their platforms are secure. But it’s hard. The market is riddled with overcomplicated, expensive tools that aren’t fit for developers. So, we founded Aikido.

We are the no-bullsh*t security platform that developers actually like to use. One central platform that shows devs what matters and how to fix it, so they can get back to building.

Why work with us? Founded in 2022 by third-time serial founders, with $25M funding in the bank, we're dead set on getting security done for devs. This is a chance to join an all-star team early, take ownership, and push boundaries.

You’ll take charge of Aikido’s visual storytelling across our web presence, social media, and in-person events. As a Graphic Designer, you’ll craft visually engaging experiences that introduce users to the Aikido brand and products through compelling graphics and video content

As a Graphic Designer you will:

  • Primarily focus on our web presence, our blog, and documentation to create a world-class experience that tells the Aikido story. You’ll come up with creative new ways to introduce potential new users to the Aikido brand and product.
  • Create video animations to use on our website and social media accounts.
  • You'll craft every little detail of new web projects, from the initial idea, through conception to the delivery. In the process, you'll pioneer new forms of content to better tell Aikido's story.
  • Work closely with our product and growth teams on new product and content releases. There will also be plenty of opportunities to contribute to the Aikido product and help accelerate how we build product by building tooling, components, and contribute to new features.
  • Take Aikido's brand design and visual identity to the next level, working closely our brand and product team.

Job requirements

  • Experience with Webflow and Figma
  • Experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools for video editing and animation
  • Are committed to creating beautiful, user-centric designs prioritizing usability and accessibility.
  • Experience with motion and storytelling, effective animiation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • You are someone who loves to experiment, is comfortable in chaos, and will hit the ground sprinting

What you can expect:

  • High-impact position in a fast-growing company
  • Competitive salary package
  • A company that sticks to its values in an open and informal atmosphere (see our culture-page on the website for more details)
  • A diverse and inclusive organization that is proud to be an equal opportunity employer
  • Support and budget for relocation to Ghent. Option for remote work 🌐.
